T-Pain gave an interesting take to Tekashi 6ix9ine snitching.

While the vast majority of the hip-hop community is frowning upon Tekashi 6ix9ine becoming a government informant, there is a small segment who actually agrees with his decision. T-Pain sat down for an interview on Big Boy TV where he gave an interesting take on the situation. T-Pain has a new album “1UP” that he is promoting, so you will be seeing a lot of him in the press this week.

“I would snitch so hard,” the singer said while laughing. “But on the real though, the man has a family and a daughter. A lot of people say ‘well he wasn’t thinking about that doing it’ yes he was because he was trying to get that hot air more than three days on Twitter, you know he was trying to get that for his family, he was trying to make money for his family.

T-Pain continues, “At some point when does a street code overrides your family. ‘Cause we are talking about some ni**as you just met two years ago. You got a full daughter my ni**a, you gotta figure that out, you got a whole daughter bro, so who are you loyal to.”

Tekashi 6ix9ine is currently behind bars facing a whopping 47 years in prison. He could see his sentence drastically decrease or even no jail time as part of his plea deal. The Brooklyn rapper will be testifying and has provided federal prosecutors with information for their case against some of his former associates including his former manager Shottie.
