Tekashi69 Turns Rat Set To Testify Against Associate In Chief Keef Shooting Case

Did Tekashi69 turn a rat in jail?

Tekashi 6ix9ine is fighting for his life as he remains behind bars without bail. The latest development in his criminal case is that he has agreed to testify against one of his associates believed to be responsible for the Chief Keef shooting incident in New York last year. Urban Islandz previously reported that 69 might have snitched on himself in a video that shows him telling his crew that he ordered the hit on Chief Keef.

After months of investigation, the NYPD has determined that Tekashi69’s associates, Kintea McKenzie, Anthony Ellison, and Denard Butler are responsible for the shooting which took place at a hotel in New York City in May last year. The Chicago rapper was shot at outside of the hotel in a drive-by shooting that appears to be meant to scare him. TMZ reported that 69’s associates were indicted in connection to the shooting and the “FEFE” rapper will be testifying against them.

According to reports, McKenzie was allegedly paid $10,000 to take out Chief Keef. Two of the men indicted, reportedly track down the Chicago rapper at the W Hotel in Times Square and fired several shots at him. Luckily they were either bad shooters or deliberately missed their target.

Ellison is currently in police custody for allegedly kidnapping and beating up Tekashi69, while cops are still on the hunt for McKenzie. In the footage posted by TMZ, you can see 6ix9ine talking to Chief Keef’s cousin Tadoe on FaceTime. After the call ended, he bragged to his crew about putting a $30,000 hit on Tadoe.

Tekashi 6ix9ine was arrested in November last year, and so far he has been unable to secure his bail. The Brooklyn rapper has been slapped with six felony charges including racketeering, gun, and drug trafficking. His trial date is set for September 4 this year.
