Alkaline Did Not Diss Buju Banton, Deejay’s Camp Says Its Fake News

Alkaline

Alkaline did not diss Buju Banton.

Imagine the backlash that would ensue if Alkaline had really disrespected Buju Banton? The Gargamel arrived home in Jamaica just over a week ago to a hero’s welcome both from fans and fellow artists alike. However, there have been some whispered claiming that Alkaline disrespected the reggae/dancehall icon. Urban Islandz reached out to a representative for the Vendetta leader who told us its all fake news.

“Its fake news some vlogger spreading as usual on Alka just because they know it will generate views,” his rep said. “I can speak for the boss and tell you him never disrespect Buju Banton. Matter of fact some man can go chuck off and come off a the man name. It’s like them want the man to bow down to every artist in the business.”

We’re told that some folks think Alkaline disrespected Buju Banton when he did not post the Grammy-winning singer on his social media after his release from prison.

In all fairness, that is in no way a disrespect towards Buju. Additionally, several other artists did not post anything about Buju on their social media, including Popcaan, Jahmiel, Tommy Lee Sparta, and more.
