Offset found some humor in the chaos.
The Migos rapper jokes about his embarrassing public apology to Cardi B at Saturday night’s Rolling Loud Festival in Los Angeles. In the middle of her set, some folks walked onto the stage with a giant message that reads “TAKE ME BACK CARDI” and then Offset walked onto the stage with a peace offering. I just want to tell you I’m sorry, bruh, in person, in front of the world,” he told her.
Cardi B was clearly very upset about the stunt that interrupted her performance. The drama was embarrassing for both of them, and it’s unclear if the promoters are happy about it. The “Money” rapper was a bit emotional when she took to her Instagram Live to defend her baby daddy from some heavy backlash. Despite the scene he created, Cardi B came back on stage and delivered a well-received performance.
Offset has since shared his reaction on Twitter while joking about the spectacle he created. “All of my wrongs have been made public, I figure It’s only right that my apologies are made public too,” he tweeted. “A ni**a was just trying thank god I ain’t got no balloons sheeesh.”
Last week, he sent out a tweet pushing back against his critics while saying that he misses Cardi B. On Friday night, he also got some help from his friend 21 Savage who invited him on stage during his set and lead the crowd to chant, “Cardi please take Offset back.”
Cardi B posted a video on her Instagram page asking her fans to show Offset some respect because he is still her baby daddy and still her family. This move is perhaps the best sign yet that she is considering taking him back.
“Violating my baby father is not gonna make me feel any better, because at the end of the day that’s still family,” she said. “Unfortunately we’re going through things, and it’s not private, it became public. I just want things to die down. I just need time so we can see eye to eye. I can’t predict the future, I don’t know, but the whole coming at my baby father bull**** — that doesn’t make me feel any better.”
