Cardi B is planning to drop her long-awaited “Bartier Cardi” music video during “Love and Hip Hop: New York” Reunion Special.
The LHHNY Reunion special is set for March 12 on VH1 and the network confirmed on Twitter on Monday that they will premiere the music video during the episode set for 8 p.m. EST. “BARDI GANG Get ready for the WORLD PREMIERE music video of @IAmCardiB’s #BartierCardi during the #LHHReunion NEXT MONDAY at 8/7c only on BH1…we mean @VH1,” the network tweeted while previewing the upcoming special LHHNY episode.
Before her fame, Cardi B was a regular on “Love and Hip Hop New York” season six and seven where she became a fan favorite. She then leaves the show in 2016 to pursue her career in hip-hop and that’s when she got her big break last year with her chart-topping smash hit “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves).” At the time she said she didn’t choose to become a rapper because she was on Love and Hip Hop, that was a lifelong dream of hers even before joining the show.
Cardi B is currently working on her debut album which she promises will be delivered very soon. Earlier this week she pushed back against fans who accused her of waiting on Nicki Minaj to release her album before dropping hers. She said that’s not part of her strategy and the album will come soon.
