D’Angel Turns To Gospel With “Give Thanks”

D’Angel is the latest hardcore dancehall artist to release a gospel song.

Over the past two years, we’ve seen hardcore dancehall acts like Queen Lady Saw and Mr. Vegas throw in the towel to become gospel artists. D’Angel drops a new single “Give Thanks” on Good Good Production’s new Life’s Path Riddim. Her new track is the follow-up to her smash hit “No Worries” featuring Spice which has been doing well since it’s release last summer.

D’Angel says she will be releasing more uplifting music going forward and a big part of her decision has to do with the crime wave that is currently gripping Jamaica. She is also encouraging more artists to join the mission to help bring back the country to the good old days where people could walk the streets freely without fear for their safety.

D’Angel and Good Good Productions are already in the planning stages to shoot a music video for the powerful single. Aside from working on new music, the dancehall diva is currently getting ready for some big performances on the U.S. East Coast and Canada.
