Meek Mill Reacts To Eagles Super Bowl Win “Am Proud To Be From Philadelphia”

Meek Mill has reacted from prison to Philadelphia Eagles winning Super Bowl 52.

The Eagles clinch a victory at Sunday’s Super Bowl against the New England Patriots and a big part of their victory celebration is centered around Meek Mill’s classic “Dreams and Nightmares.” The single became an anthem for the team on the day they booked their spot in the Super Bowl and Meek is especially elated to be a part of the historic moment given his recent legal troubles.

Meek Mill released a statement from behind bars through John Clark of NBC on Monday where he opened up about how proud he is of the team and to be from the city of Philadelphia. Clark also shared a video on Instagram of the Eagles touching the field while “Dreams and Nighmares” blazing. “Last night, I felt especially proud to be from the great city of Philadelphia,” the statement reads. “All the heart that the Eagles showed in winning the Super Bowl has given the best fans in the world real hope and inspiration and I’m truly humbled. I wish my current situation was different, and that I could be with my brothers on that team, and the other Eagles fans, in celebrating this once-in-a-lifetime experience. But I have faith that truth and justice will win out in the end.”

The Eagles also used Meek’s song “Dreams and Nightmares” as their intro song when they were coming out on the field. Watch the video below and sound off in the comments.
