Nicki Minaj has his eyes set on the lucrative restaurant industry with a Trinidadian restaurant in mind in New York City.
The Young Money rapper was inspired by her Thanksgiving feast on Thursday when she showed off what was going on in the kitchen at her house. “HTG YALL!!!! I’ll check back in with my American dishes a lil later,” she wrote. “For now just drool over my Trini food. I HOPE U GUYS ARE THANKFUL FOR THE LITTLE THINGS TODAY. SENDING MY LOVE opening my restaurant in NY real soon. Y’all comin through?”
Nicki Minaj also asked her fans on Twitter where in NYC should she open her Trini restaurant. “Opening a Trini restaurant in NY. Where exactly should it be?” she tweeted. “I’m thankful for you guys. Sending my love. Wishing you all the best today & everyday. Don’t eat too much today. Small portions.”
Nicki Minaj, whose real name is Onika Maraj, was born in Trinidad but immigrated to the United States at the age of five. She also dated Safaree Samuels whose parents are both Jamaicans. The two dated for 12 years before their split in 2014.
