Nicki Minaj has made good on her promise to pay the tuition of some of her fans and she even shared the proof.
Last week the Young Money rapper told her fans on Twitter that she will pay their tuition if they can provide him with proof of good grades and a bunch of them did and she honored her promise. “Show me straight A’s that I can verify w/ur school and I’ll pay it. Who wants to join THAT contest?!?! Dead serious. Shld I set it up?” she tweeted. Needless to say she didn’t have to say it twice because her fans took her up on the offer.
Sources in her circle told us that she asked her assistant to help her vet the fans who will get money from her to pay tuition. “She asked her team to dedicate a couple hours to assistant her in delivering on her promise and you could tell that it was something that she is passionate about,” sources told us.

Nicki Minaj was very happy about the effort made by her team and she even spoke with a few of the fans whom she paid tuition or buys books for. “This makes me so happy,” she wrote on IG. “[A few from the other day] I’ll do another impromptu payment spree in a month or 2 but pls know that I’m launching my official charity for Student Loans/Tuition Payments VERY SOON! You’ll be able to officially sign up! I’ll keep you posted!”
Sources also told us that Nicki Minaj will again in the future render some assistance to her fans. “She will be doing this again in the future because this is something that she feels passionate about as I said before,” we’re told. “Nicki remembers where she came from and education plays a big role in her success.”
