Young Thug Joins Drake’s ‘Boys Meet World’ Tour As Opening Act

Young Thug is joining Drake in Europe for his Boy Meets World Tour. OVO confirmed the move on Monday that the Atlanta rapper will be one of the opening acts on the tour.

Thugger also confirmed on his Instagram page that he will be available for meet and greet with his fans on the tour that is now on the British leg. Drake kicked off the tour on Friday night in Amsterdam in from a sold out crowd. But things didn’t start smoothly for the tour with two shows inthe Dutch capital pushed back over production setbacks.

Young Thug first show will be on February 1st in London and will be following Drake all the way through to February 23rd when he will leave and go about his business. His last show on the tour will be in Birmingham, which means he will on be in the UK performing in cities like Leads, Dublin, Sheffield, and Manchester.

The Toronto rapper will be dropping his new album More Life sometime in the middle of February, he announced on stage at his Amsterdam show. While he didn’t give fans an exact date, he promised it would be released befoe the next show in that city which will be on February 26. The folks on Twitter certainly can’t wait for that playlist to drop, with one fan saying that he is refreshing his feed everyday until Drake delivered the project.

Drizzy is hot off his hugely successful Summer Sixteen Tour of North America with Future. That tour broke the record last year for the highest grossing hip hop tour of all-time beating out Kanye West and Jay Z’s “Watch The Throne” which grossed $75 million in 2011-2012. The Summer Sixteen Tour raked in a reported $84.3 million. Can Drake topped those numbers with his Boy Meets World Tour in Europe?
