Bugle Preps Sophomore Album “Be Yourself” For February

Bugle is getting ready to unleash his sophomore album on dancehall airwaves. His new project which is titled “Be Yourself” is due for release in February.

The album will be the followup to his critically acclaimed debut LP “Anointed” released in 2004. The new LP will come with 15 tracks including his recently released single “Choke” on the Cheers Riddim produced by Markus Records.

Unlike Anointed, Bugle says his sophomore album will be a hundred percent authentic reggae music, meaning there will be no trace of dancehall. “It only has reggae songs, no dancehall, and it also shows my growth as an artist,” the singer told the Observer.

Bugle’s debut LP was hailed as one of the best albums released in the genre in 2014. That project helped push his international appeal with an extensive tour in North America, Europe, and Africa. “Be Yourself” will feature guest appearances from Sizzla Kalonji, Tarrus Riley, Shenseea, Rockaz Elements, and Shaggy. The album is being produced by Bugle himself with the help of Mr. G, Kunley from Ward 21, Teflon Zinc Fence, and Dunwell.
