Lil Wayne Gets Angry At ‘Black Lives Matter’ Question “I Don’t Know What That is”

Lil Wayne is getting a lot of bashing on social media today and its all over his reaction to the Black Lives Matter movement. In fact he could see some fallout in his core fan base as folks are expressing their dismay and literally shaking their heads at his initial reaction to a simple question.

The New Orleans was doing an interview on “Nightline” on Tuesday night when the host asked him about his thoughts on the “Back Lives Matter” movement. “What is it? What do you mean? That just sounds weird,” Lil Wayne replied angrily.

“I don’t know, that you put a name on it…It’s not a name, it’s not, ‘whatever whatever,’ he added. “It’s somebody got shot by a policeman for a f**ked up reason. I am a young, black rich motherf***er. If that don’t let you know that America understand black motherf***ers matter these days, I don’t know what it is. That man white, he filmin’ me. I’m a ni**a. I don’t know what you mean, man. Don’t come at me with that dumb sh*t, man. My life matter. Especially to my b**ches.”

Watch a clip from the exchange posted on Twitter by Nightline.

Basically, Lil Wayne flat out says that the Black Lives Movement has nothing to do with him because it doesn’t affect him in any way. The show also confirmed that Lil Wayne angrily ended the interview and walked off the set yelling that he is no politician.

In another interview last month, Lil Wayne said that he doesn’t know what racism is because a white police officer once saved his life. He also reiterate that Black Lives Matter movement is dumb.

These are some of the reactions on Twitter.
