While the news may not come as a surprise for Tyga, it does for Migos. Shortly after his Yeezy Season 4 fashion show in New York City on Wednesday night, Kanye West made a surprise entry onto the stage at the G.O.O.D. Music pop-up show at the Highline Ballroom where he made the announcement.
Up until the time of this publication, Tyga was trending on Twitter thanks to his new major label deal with Ye who also not too long ago signed rap newcomer Desiigner. “Please welcome on stage Tyga and Desiigner,” Kanye told the crowd.
Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend then performed a never before heard duet with the “Tiimmy Turner” rapper rocking the audience. Pusha T, Teyana Taylor, Migos, and Swizz Beatz also performed at the event.
As far as Migos deal with G.O.O.D. Music goes, there aren’t a lot of details. But Pusha T confirmed that the Atlanta trio signed what appears to be a management deal with the label. Migos is still signed to Quality Control for recording purposes and to 300 Entertainment for distribution purposes, so that would explain the management only contract with Ye.

Kanye West seems to be on a mission to expand his G.O.O.D. Music roster. Signing Tyga is a no-brainer since he is dating his 19-year-old sister-in-law Kylie Jenner. The pair have been dating since she was 17 and took their relationship public when she turned 18.
Tyga was previously signed to Cash Money Records, but asked the label to released him after he complained, like several other artists, that he wasn’t getting paid.
Do you think Tyga made a good move signing to Kanye West label G.O.O.D. Music?
