Lil Wayne: Young Thug & Rich Homie Quan Supports Rapper In Cash Money/Birdman Feud

Lil Wayne has been getting a lot of support from his hip hop peers including Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan.

Weezy and Thugger previously had issued over the title of the Atlanta rapper’s mixtape Barter V which was a direct shot at Wayne’s oft-delayed album Tha Carter V. Young Thug was also super close with Birdman in the heights of the Cash Money head’s beef with his Young Money protege. He regularly took shots at Weezy in songs and on social media so what changed now.

Young Thug took to Twitter early this morning and made a surprising gesture in support of the New Orleans emcee.

“@LilTunechi I promise I’m holding u down no matter what… f**k the world and what they thinkfeel I’m with u for life, ur the reason I rap,” Thugger wrote on his timeline. “I just wish u could love me the way I love u big bro… ur my idol for life and I hope ur sorry for bashing me, not knowing how much I love u.”

Rich Homie Quan, who was also apart of the Cash Money/Rich Gang club, also showed his support for Tunechi on social media.

“It is with great remorse that I find myself writing this,” Quan wrote on Instagram. “I want to take this time out to give my undying support to @liltunechi. I know the exact feeling that you are feeling because I have been in that same predicament. You are my idol and your music inspired me to be a entertainer. I just settled my lawsuit with my former label.I know it can be depressing at times but just know the same God that pulled me thru can and will do the same for you. I support you 1000% . Last but not least Thank You for being you all of these years because thru you I was able to find myself. #greatestofalltime.”

Young Thug was also caught up in the infamous Lil Wayne tour bus shooting where one man is now serving a 10-year sentence for attempted murder. Law enforcement believes that Thug and Birdman plotted to kill Lil Wayne.

There is unlikely any chance that Wayne and Young Thug will ever become friends.
