Drake Cut Popcaan From Views ‘Controlla’ Dancehall Fans Upset

Popcaan was not included in the album version of Drake’s single “Controlla.”

The Toronto rapper released his new album Views last night and dancehall fans immediately noticed that Popcaan was cut from the single. Instead, Drake and his producer replaced Popcaan verse with a sample of Beenie Man “Tear Off Mi Garments.”

Beenie Man also appeared on the Outro of the single. This came at a big surprised since Drake shared a meme with Popcaan confirming him as one of the guest artists on the album.
