Jennifer Lopez Announced New Contract With Epic Records

Jennifer Lopez has announced that she has signed a new contract with Epic Records.

The singer/actress is currently having a great year with her Vegas residency and a hit NBC TV show “Shades of Blue.”

Multiple news reports surfaced last week confirming that J.Lo has parted ways with Capitol Records and signed on with L.A. Reid’s Epic Records.

Jennifer Lopez posted a photo on Instagram of herself and L.A. Reid with the caption, “Heading Back Home! New Record Deal!”

L.A. Reid also confirmed the news via Twitter and with Billboard.

“I’m thrilled to welcome Jennifer back home with me to Epic Records,” he told Billboard. “Jennifer is a true global icon with a magnetism that seers across music, film, and TV and I’m excited to be working together again.”

Jennifer Lopez has released a number of projects under Epic Records before joining Capitol Records where she dropped her 2014 album A.K.A. She also left Epic in 2010 to join Island Def Jam under then CEO L.A. Reid.
