J Capri father Kenneth Phillips is still grieving like so many of her fans from her untimely death. But the older Phillips is keeping her memory alive through some new ventures.
Speaking with Winford Williams of OnStage, Kenneth says that he want his daughter to be remembered for her incredible talent and her warm welcoming personality.
“Most of all I want her to be remembered for her incredible talent,” Phillips said. “She was a remarkable human being, she was a fun loving person and somebody who was down to earth.”
Kenneth says that he is in the process of forming a Foundation in her honor and launching a record label in her name.
J Capri, born Jordan Phillips, died on December 4th in a hospital while getting treatment for injuries she received in a car crash two weeks prior.
Capri career was on the verge of taking off with a huge fan base in Europe and a growing following in Jamaica.
