Chris Brown fans in Australia and New Zealand are out of luck because his tour Down Under was canceled after authorities denied him entry.
Back in September rumors started circulating that Brown could be barred from entering Australia. But the singer denied the allegations assuring his fans that the show will go on.
Turns out that that is not the case because the promoters have pulled the plug.
“Mr Brown and the promoters both remain positive that the tour will take place in the near future,” the promoter said in statement, per Billboard. “Mr Brown wishes to express his deepest gratitude to the fans for their support and looks forward to a successful tour in the near future.”
The Australian leg of Chris Brown’s One Hell of a Night tour was scheduled to run from December 9-16. Some of the shows were already sold out.
Fans will get a refund of their ticket.
