Bobby Shmurda has not seen the light of day in a while. The New York rapper was once again denied bail when his new lawyer Alex Spiro turned up in court on Monday.
The judge however denied the “Hot Ni***” rapper bail after Special Narcotics Prosecutor Nigel Farinha argued that his half a million dollar networth and his connections in Florida makes him a flight risk, Page Six reported.
Shmurda, who is famous for creating the Shmoney Dance, along with several members of his GS9 crew have been behind bars since December last year. The judge set his bail at $2 million and has denied his release on four occasions.
Bobby Shmurda is facing up to 25 years in prison for drug trafficking and weapons charges.
