Downsound Records dancehall diva Ishawna will be walking down the isle soon after becoming engaged to her longtime boyfriend sound system selector Foota Hype.

Foota Hype popped the question at his 12th anniversary party at Oneils Place on Wednesday.
Ishawna was sending plenty big ups Foota Hype’s way throughout the fun filled night, however, Foota Hype had only one big up planned for her.

The veteran sound system selector called her in the lime light and abruptly popped the question. An emotional Ishawna said yes to loud cheers from the audience which includes her Downsound Records family.
Ishawna and Foota Hype has been dating since 2010. The couple has not yet announced a wedding date.
