Days after President Obama says he want to see artists release more songs taking on politics, rap legend Ice Cube did just that.
Cube serves up a new video for his politically-charged single “Everything’s Corrupt.”
“For my birthday, buy me a politician/ It’s a shame that you got to teach the children/ Everythang’s corrupt, everythang’s fed up,” raps Cube over a sample of Betty Wright’s 1968 hit “Girls Can’t Do What the Guys Do,” Ice Cube raps.
The rapper turned actor is working on a new film titled “Ride Along” with comedian Kevin Hart. Filming is currently underway in Atlanta for the upcoming movie due in 2014.
