Reggae/dancehall royalty Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley rep for ghetto youths in the video for his latest single “Set Up Shop.” The uplifting video features the Grammy winning deejay sitting around a table rhyming over a dancehall beat, with clips of people downtown Kingston hustling.
The Winston ‘Tyson’ Mayhew-directed cut was shot in late January in sections of St Catherine, Jamaica, and at the Marley’s Tuff Gong Studio in Kingston. The video should have been release before his well received “Affairs Of The Heart” cut, but was delayed due to fine tuning.
Damian Marley is featured in the new Bob Marley documentary film “Marley” now showing.
