Reggae music newest and brightest star Romain Virgo is gearing up to release his sophomore album “The System” on May 8th.
Virgo, who is signed to VP Records, said fans can expect a musical treat when the album drop.
“That project is something that myself and the producers worked extremely hard on,” Virgo said. “There will be hints of the old Romain from the debut album, but I’m also hoping fans will be able to see my musical growth. It comes out in a few weeks, so everyone should go out and get it and, of course, feel free to have some favourites and give me feedback on what their thoughts are.”
The 15-track LP will feature popular singles such as System, I Know Better, Mama Sey and Rich In Love. Virgo’s camp told Urban Islandz that an official tracklisting will be release soon.
The former Digicel Rising Star champion was a big winner at this year’s Linkage Awards, taking home three trophies for Male Vocalist of the Year, Most Consistent Artiste of the Year and Recording Artiste of the Year awards.
