Dancehall diva and soon to be ex-wife of Beenie Man, D’Angel, is stepping forward to tell her side of the long story everyone is talking about.
In a recent interview with Anthony Miller of ER, D’Angel said Beenie Man is no dancehall king but a “drama king” and he should stop trying to tear her apart.
According to D’Angel, she asked Beenie Man for a divorce for which is gladly agreed to, but not before ridiculing her before the eyes of the public.
“Am tired of living my life for the cameras,” D’Angel said. “I had a husband who loves me infront the cameras but when the cameras are off i had to deal with the harsh reality of our marriage. I had a husband who I can’t communicate with on any level. We can’t share our thoughts, we can’t share our dreams. Just a simple discussion would result in a big argument. The trust factor is totally broken down. We lived in separate homes.”
D’Angel, who is releasing a new single “Break Free” about her failed marriage, said she is walking away without any cash or kind from Beenie Man. However, she is asking for an end to the drama and public humiliation.

This just needs to end – why is she ‘washing’ her business in public now given the fact she had asked for privacy during this ‘difficult’ time and wished Beenie all the best. Strikes me she’s being a bit of a hypocrite now tbh.The marriage didn’t work out for whatever reason – they’re not the first and certainly won’t be the last. Keep it private, get divorced, move on with your life and think about your child.
