Rapper Cassidy was arrested on the weekend and is now in police custody facing murder charge.
Cassidy, whose real name is Barry Reese, was apprehended after a warrant for his arrest was issued to local authorities which claimed that he was ‘armed and dangerous[and]’ under a ‘high risk warrant.’
According to reports, Cassidy was spotted through intense surveillance leaving his home at 1pm where his identity was confirmed “during a routine felony motor vehicle stop.”
They arrested the rapper and brought him into custody.” ‘Lt. Lloyd said Cassidy was ‘very surprised’ when arrested.
