Michael Jackson is already ranked as 2010’s biggest selling dead musician.
The late King of Pop’s sales figures will increase even more with the release of his upcoming album, “Michael.” To help increase already enormous anticipation for the album, a teaser video for lead single “Breaking News” premiered today (Nov. 5) on Jackson’s official website.
The video refers to the tabloid scandals and legal troubles that plagued Jackson in the years leading up to his death, and features a snippet of “Breaking News.” The song’s official video will make its world premiere on Jackson’s website Monday (Nov. 8).
“Breaking News” was originally recorded in 2007 in New Jersey and completed after the singer’s death last year.
“Michael” is an album of original material recorded by Jackson before his death and will be released Dec. 14 on Epic Records, in conjunction with Jackson’s estate.
