Buju Banton’s son Markus Myrie is forced to address rumors he is dating Beenie Man’s ex-wife D’Angel.
Since the altercation last week Thursday, there are many different theories floating around why Buju Banton punched his son in the face. Several sources have been saying that the reggae superstar spoke to his son, 24, about his relationship with D’Angel, who is much older than him. Markus allegedly got angry and during the conversation and the singer put the paws on him for being disrespectful.
Markus has broken his silence about the rumors, and he is pretty much making it clear that there is no relationship with D’Angel outside of music. “Angel stop spread rumor pan me you hear? Mi no really date people so [much] older than me, me respect you as an artist and everything,” he said in the video clip.
Markus continues, “A the third time me a hear say me deh with Angel from me in a music until now.”
In 2012, D’Angel shot down rumors that she is dating Markus Myrie. “Me and Markus work together. We definitely have a relationship, but it’s a musical relationship,” she said. Sources are saying that Buju Banton does not approved of the rumored relationship.
