Trey Songz and August Alsina seems to be beefing again and now it’s all comes down to who catches a fade three years ago.
These days when R&B singers beef it’s almost like a cat fight on Love and Hip Hop. This week, Trey Songz stopped by The Breakfast Club where he spoke about his past issues with August Alsina. Tremaine told CHarlamagne Tha God that Alsina was talking smack about him a couple years ago (2014) but he never wanted to beef and instead just wanted to get money and stay out of all the beefing stuff.
“August was talking crazy a couple years ago and I ain’t want to fight,” he said. August saw the interview and shared his reaction on Instagram indicating that he still hates Trey Songz guts. Sounds like he is not only confirming his past issues with Trigga, but also hinting that they actually did have a physical fight and he won.
August posted a photo of himself with the caption, “When ni**as mention yo name in an interview talking bout catching fades but you already offered several fades years ago and will STILL gladly beat his goofy a*s & then be cool later @treysongz @breakfastclubam #NeverTalkingCrazyAlwaysTalkingTRUTH.Stretch before you reach next time ni*xa! And don’t mention my name. (Back to the Real World, where real problems exist.)”
Back in 2014, both Trey Songz and August Alsina briefly went after each other. August famously revealed in an interview that he and Trigga don’t get along very well period, so he don’t f*** with him. Trey has already clap back at his singing rival on Instagram saying that he is taking this issue too serious.
“I done told y’all people you can’t have my joy! Don’t take yourself so serious, cause I don’t. God got me,” he wrote. Seems Songz is saying that August Alsina is too thin skinned.
