Yanique ‘Curvy Diva’ Barrett is launching her music career and has already picked up a record deal.
The celebrity socialite and media personality is known for her curves but now she wants to be known as a dancehall recording artist. She recently signed a deal with Good Good Production which is owned by Evan ‘Zum’ Powell. This marks the label’s first signing of an individual as an artist since it started producing music for other artists in 2010.
“Many artistes have been interested in working with us over the years but we never decided to go full sail until now,” Powell said. The producer also said that Yanique already has the dancehall image which will help her career as an artist.
“Music makes me happy it’s something I’m passionate about, I was excited when Good Good Production approached me with this opportunity and I can’t wait to take my fans on this amazing journey with me,“ the Curvy Diva said. Yanique Barrett currently hosts Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall and regularly host other party series across Jamaica.
