Allen Iverson Joins Ice Cube 3-On-3 Basketball League

Ice Cube is pulling some serious star power to his 3-on-3 Basketball league with Hall of Famer Allen Iverson being the latest big name to join the competition.

Cube announced the league a few weeks back and already he is attracting a lot of attention from both NBA fans and retired players for the half court league schedule to take place in the off season this summer. Former Deputy Executive Director of the NBA Players Association and Hall-of-Fame guard Gary Payton is also another big name that has joined the league.

There are a lot of retired players who can still ball and might join the league, perhaps Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, who are fresh retirees who still want to play ball can join the league. Iverson, who is 41, will be both a coach a and player which makes sense given his age and experience. The league will span 8 major cities over the coarse of the summer for the first season and is expected to grow for the next season.
