Cops Who Leaked Rihanna Assault Photos Walk Free

Two Los Angeles police officers that were accused of leaking Rihanna assault pictures will walk free.

According to reports, no charges will be filed against the two cops.

Rihanna Says Its Not Cool Being A Side Chick

In the summer of 2009, TMZ acquired photos of the pop star battered face. The photos were believed to be leaked from inside the police department.

After a three-year investigation, the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office says that they didn’t find enough evidence to say TMZ paid the accused cops for the photos.

Despite being freed of any wrong doings, the two officers, Blanca Lopez and Rebecca Reyes, may loose their job over the incident when they appear before a disciplinary committee.

Allegations are that the two officers, who were roommates at the time made several calls to TMZ and Fox Television after Reyes emailed the photo from her LAPD email address to her personal email.

Investigators could not find a money trail of any payments in the accused cops bank accounts.
