Former Fugee Wyclef Jean and Academy Award-winning actor Sean Penn has finally put and end to their unnecessary beef.
Jean and Penn became bitter enemies last summer during the Haitian presidencial campaign where there were several public disputes as to whether Jean is fit to run for president.
According to reports, A meeting in New York last Saturday night (Feb 12) led to an intense 30-minute head-to-head and finally a hug. To top it off the pair were thrown together at the B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York’s Times Square on Saturday morning where they’d gone to watch a Haitian band called T-Vice. (Monsters & Critics)
A New York Post report claimed that Sean Penn publicly demonstrated support for Jean at the Manhattan venue.
“In Haiti, we have got an opportunity as Americans whether you are from Haitian diaspora or pr – – ks like me . . . These two men beside me will lead the way if you support them . . . let’s move on for some fun.” Also watching was fellow Fugee Pras, actress Paz de la Huerta, actor Jeffrey Wright and nightlife queen Amy Sacco.
