Vybz Kartel: “I Will Not Make The System Break Me”
By now you would have learned that Vybz Kartel trial was postponed yet again by the Jamaican justice system.
The former Portmore Empire chief appeared in the Home Circuit Court yesterday where he was scheduled to begin trial in the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams.
The trial was however pushed back to May due to insufficient juror.
A close source of Vybz Kartel, who spoke to him after the new development, exclusively told UrbanIslandz.com that he feels the system is trying to break him.
“‘The system a try break me but mi stand firm in the belief of the almighty’ Teacha said to me,” the source said. “They keep putting off the case because they know Addi innocent and they probably want find more things to charge him with.”
Vybz Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, along with protege Shawn ‘Storm’ Campbell, stylist Calvin ‘Moonie’ Haye, and three other men were charged with the beating death of Williams.
Vybz Kartel new trial date is set for May 27, 2013.
