Vybz Kartel’s highly publicized murder trial in the Home Circuit court in Kingston is now in day 20.
The trial which was scheduled to be wrapped up a week ago will go into its 5th week next week.
Kartel, born Adidja Palmer, is on trial for the alleged murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams, who police say was killed over a missing firearm belonging to the dancehall star.

Shawn “Storm” Campbell, Kahira Jones, André St John, and Shane Williams are also charged with Williams’ murder.
Since Tuesday the judge cleared the courtroom of everyone including jurors and the media for the testimony of former Jamaica Constabulary Force’s Cybercrime Unit head, Patrick Linton.
Linton’s testimony was wrapped up yesterday. Judge Lennox Campbell has asked jurors to return to court today at 10 a.m. where the trial is expected to continue.
The defense will be calling the prosecution star witness back to the stand where he will be cross-examined about a letter he allegedly wrote to Public Defender Earl Witter.

Mario Hassad, who is the Group Chief Technology officer at Digicel, is now giving testimony.
He is giving testimony regarding cellphones and cell sites.
Umm… I don’t know why ya’ll are supporting him. He has money, fame and notoriety (Things most of us wont/don’t have) yet he fugged it up with this nonsense. I have no sympathy for him, or any celebrity that doesn’t realize their blessings when they have it.
