Iggy Azalea Drops Off “Wicked Lips” EP – Listen It

Iggy Azalea’s new EP Wicked Lips is now out.

Fans of the Australian rapper were forced to be patient as the new release was originally meant to drop on November 22nd. Iggy Azalea apologized for the delay as she begs fans for their understanding. It’s totally clear, though, that the wait was worth it. Four tracks feature on Wicked Lips, including “Lola,” “Not Important,” “The Girls,” and “Personal Problem.” “Lola” has already received massive airplay since coming out on November 8th, and peaked at number 9 on the Billboard Rap Digital Song chart.

British singer Alice Chater joined the 29-year-old on “Lola,” which features a sample of Dean Martin’s cover of “Mambo Italiano.” Iggy does not go solo on “The Girls” either, as she is accompanied by Pabllo Vittar, the Brazilian drag queen. Fancy!

“Please cut me some extra slack guys, I hear your frustration about the EP delay,” Iggy wrote on Twitter at the time. “I’m not ignoring your questions because I don’t care. sometimes I cant give fans explanations because I’m Just not comfortable sharing everything publicly. I appreciate you guys understanding.”

It’s definitely been a fantastic year for the “Black Widow” hitmaker. She dropped her second studio album, In My Defense, through her own Bad Dream Records in July, and the sophomore release sold 16,000 copies in its first week alone. Overall, the album peaked at number 50 on the Billboard 200, which is impressive for an independent LP.

It is also rumored that the Sydney-born star may have gotten engaged during 2019. Last month, she and boyfriend Playboi Carti reported a burglary at their Atlanta home in which $366,000 worth of jewelry was stolen. Amongst the precious items? A $35,000 engagement ring.
