Beyonce and Jay Z hosted a star-studded Soul Train themed birthday party in New York City on Monday.
Queen Bey was placed on vocals rest by her doctors ahead of the start of her Formation World Tour. But her docs didn’t say that she can’t dance with her husband Jay Z down the Soul Train line. The couple’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter also got on the mic to with her famous mother a happy birthday. “Happy birthday mommy!” she said.
This is perhaps the first time that the world is really hearing Blue Ivy’s voice.
Beyonce’s Destiny’s Child members, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, were also in the house, as well as, other famous celebrities including Diddy, Cassie, Usher, Kendrick Lamar, Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, Serena Williams, La La Anthony, Carmelo Anthony, and Beyonce’s sister Solange Knowles.
