T.I. Tells Haters Be Easy, “My Actions Have Been Unacceptable, But Not Unforgiveable”

Rapper/actor T.I. has attempted to extinguish the negative buzz he has received since being sentenced to an 11 month stint behind bars for probation violation last week.

According to TIP, his good deeds have been overshadowed by  the backlash he has received over the past few days.

“I have been in a position to see clearly how fast the public will throw you away. They would rather see you suffer then to see you shine. My actions have been unacceptable, inexcusable, but I don’t see them as unforgivable. But I have been approached by the public in such a way that my actions are unforgivable. One bad move, one bad decision has discredited all the good, which I don’t think is right. Especially when all the people that are judging and pointing the finger at me, are doing as bad, if not worse than me, without doing as much good as me. It’s a lot more in the world to frown up on than T.I. It’s a lot more to be upset at rather than me and my circumstances.”

As a result of the sentencing, T.I. was released from his endorsement deal with the personal care brand AXE.

“A rep for the company tells TMZ, “We will no longer feature T.I. in our promotional campaign” — a decision that comes one month after the company publicly stated it was “troubled” by T.I.’s recent arrest for drug possession. T.I. signed with AXE earlier this year … he’s already been removed from their website.” (TMZ)

T.I. will start serving his sentence soon.
