Rihanna Blast CBS For Punishing Her For Ray Rice

Rihanna and CBS are feuding and we have to side with the pop singer on this one.

Last week the network axed Rihanna’s performance from it’s Thursday Night Football opening due to the Ray Rice domestic violence scandal with the NFL.

CBS got some backlash for their bold decision and seems to have a change of heart. But that has not gone down well with Rihanna who took to Twitter to blast the network.

“CBS you pulled my song last week, now you wanna slide it back in this Thursday?” Rihanna wrote on her official Twitter account. “NO, F— you! Y’all are sad for penalizing me for this.”

Rihanna is feeling some type of way about CBS decision to punish her for Ray Rice assaulting his wife Janay Rice. Perhaps she felt like the network is not allowing her to move on from the infamous 2009 Chris Brown assault.

CBS has also issued a statement on the Rihanna saga.

“Beginning this Thursday, we will be moving in a different direction with some elements of our Thursday Night Football open. We will be using our newly created Thursday Night Football theme music to open our game broadcast.”

Rihanna will not be performing live on CBS anytime soon.
