Kodak Black is currently in police custody.
The Pompano Beach rapper was arrested moments on Saturday evening in Miami at the 2019 Rolling Loud Music Festival at the Hard Rock Stadium. Kodak Black, whose real name is Bill Kapri, was arrested in a joint operation between the FBI and Miami-Dade’s police department. Sources say he is facing both state and federal weapon charges. The full details surrounding his arrest is not yet known since he was taken into custody approximately an hour ago.
This is Kodak Black’s second arrest over the past couple of weeks. Last month he was taken into custody following an arrest at the United States and Canada border after police officers search a vehicle he was traveling in and found weapons and drugs.
It appears that there is a lot of activities happening surrounding the Rolling Loud festival in Miami this weekend. Last night the festival’s promoters were forced to release a statement dismissing claims that there was an active shooter inside the venue. On Friday, there were reports that Young Thug and his entourage were shot at in a drive-by shooting on the highway. Three persons were injured and taken to a hospital in that attack.
On Saturday, reports surfaced that Chicago rapper HellaBandz was shot and killed in Miami.
