Kendrick Lamar Recording New Music For “Black Panther” Soundtrack

Kendrick Lamar preps some new music for the “Black Panther” soundtrack and it sounds fire.

After dropping the video for his single “LOVE” featuring Zacari, K-Dot hinted that he has some new music coming out. The Compton rapper has one of the best, if not the best hip hop album of the year, and he is already working on some new music for the new year. One of the projects that he is reportedly working on is the soundtrack for the upcoming Marvel movie Black Panther.

In the middle of the music video “LOVE” a banner quickly appeared then disappeared that reads “B. Panther. Soundtrack. Coming Soon.” The movie is set for release on February 16 which means that we can expect some new music from Kendrick Lamar sometime within the next month. You will likely have to rewatch the video more than twice to catch the hidden message, but eventually you will see it. This shouldn’t at all come as a surprise since Marvel used Kendrick’s classic single “DNA.” in the trailer for the movie that they previewed recently at Comic-Con H in San Diego.

2017 has been a big year for Kendrick Lamar and next year is shaping up to be an even bigger year starting with the upcoming Grammy Awards ceremony where he received seven nominations from his album DAMN. including Album of the Year and Record of the Year for “HUMBLE.”
