Lauryn Hill Apologizes To Fans For Showing Up Three Hours Late To Concert

Lauryn Hill has issued an apology to her fans in Pittsburgh who had to wait three hours for her to perform.

The incident took place on Tuesday night when her “MLH Caravan: A Diaspora Calling!” tour rolled through town. Several disgruntled fans took to Twitter to vent their frustration towards Ms. Hill and some fans even left the venue before she arrived.

In a lengthy message posted on Twitter, she apologized for the late start of the show and explained that her band was held up at the airport. “To my fans in Pittsburgh: We apologize for the extremely late start last night, there were factors out of our control,” she wrote.

This is not the first time Lauryn Hill is coming under fire from her fans for showing up several hours late for her concert. In May last year, she was also three hours late for a show in Atlanta resulting in some fans leaving the venue and voicing their anger on Twitter. So if your planning to attend one of Ms. Hill’s concerts anytime soon be prepared to wait a few hours for her to hit the stage or just arrive three hours late.
