Meek Mill & T.I. Claps Back At Wack 100 Claims Nipsey Hussle Not A Legend

Nipsey Hussle and Meek Mill

Meek Mill and T.I. issued a strong clap back at Wack 100 for questioning Nipsey Hussle’s legendary status.

Everyone has their own opinion on Nipsey Hussle‘s legacy, and Wack 100, who is best known in hip hop circles as The Game and Blueface manager, has been very vocal on his stance against the late Crenshaw rapper. The problem is, Nipsey is not here to defend himself from Wack’s onslaught. The good thing is the late rapper has a lot of allies in the game who are defending his honor. On Monday, Meek Mill and T.I. went off on the Gram amidst a new interview Wack did where he said that Nipsey is not a legend.

“We gotta define what a legend is and what a legend ain’t,” Wack said while reinforcing his previous arguments that Hussle died without having a radio hit or a world tour.

Meek Mill, who was very close friends with Nip prior to his death, tweeted, “Nipsey a legend and the definition of real black man!” While he didn’t mention Wack by name, it’s clear that what the West Coast gangbanger said struck a nerve.

T.I., who is also a staunched defender of Nipsey, sounds off on Instagram by posting the dictionary meaning of the word, Legend. “This sh*t say Nipsey all over it,” TIP wrote. “Record sales and #1 hits ain’t the only barometer for legendary status. IMPACT is what’s important. Although his notoriety DID grow exponentially more after his demise… his impact is undeniable. #HadToBeSaid.”

Nipsey Hussle’s impact in hip hop and his community is undeniable, and I have to agree with T.I.’s argument that impact carries a lot more weight than having a number one record or platinum-selling singles. While Wack 100 is correct in saying that Nipsey Hussle’s popularity grew significantly after his untimely death, he is not getting a lot of support with his other arguments, not even from The Game.
