Cancel Culture Calls Drake A ‘Creep’ For Texting Teenage Singer Billie Eilish

Drake is getting some heat from the Cancel Culture for texting teenage singer Billie Eilish.

During an interview with Vanity Fair, the “Bury A Friend” singer revealed that the Canadian rapper is someone whom she counts as a friend and that the pair even text. Each year, the 17-year-old undertakes the same interview by the publication, with the same 50 questions. While Khalid was the most famous person in the teenager’s phone in 2017, Drake took the title this year.

“Drake is like the nicest dude I’ve ever spoken to,” she gushed before revealing that they’ve never actually met in person. “I mean I’ve only like texted him, but he’s so nice.”

Drake is undoubtedly at the height of his game, with the compilation album he released in August, Care Package, debuting at number one. But despite all the success he has achieved — including earning 4 Grammys and being declared by Billboard as the 16th most successful artist of all time — Eilish claims that he is the furthest thing from a “bad guy.”

“He does not to be nice, you know what I mean? He’s at a level in his life where he doesn’t need to be nice, but he is,” she said.

It seems, however, that no good deed goes unpunished, with people calling it “creepy” that Drake is texting with a girl who isn’t even 18 yet.

Many also referenced the fact that this is not the first minor he hits up. Millie Bobby Brown of Stranger Things revealed that after having met him in Australia two years ago, Drake often texts her.

“We just texted each other and he was like, ‘I miss you so much’ and I was like ‘I miss you too!'” the 15-year-old told Access Hollywood last year.

We can neither confirm nor deny whether Drake texts the Grammy nominee, “Billie, do you love me? Are you riding?”
