Lil Wayne and Toya Wright’s little girl Reginae Carter is all grown up.
Reginae Carter can now drink, gamble, and even buy weed in some states, all because she is now 21. The legal adult is the “Lollipop” rapper’s first child and was born while he was 16-years-old in high school. Her mom is Lil Wayne’s high school sweetheart and now ex-wife, Toya Wright. Reginae’s parents took to Instagram to share their pride and love for their firstborn, all the while sharing some super cute pics of the birthday girl as a kid.
“The last 21 years have gone so fast and now you are a beautiful young woman. When I look at you, I feel comfort in knowing that I must have done something right (even though some moments I question myself ). You are amazing and I’m both blessed and honoured to be your mother,” the Toya: A Family Affair star wrote.
She followed with some good advice for her daughter: “Remain HUMBLE, God fearing and always be a lady.” The 21-year-old is definitely adhering to the last point as she looked flawless in a photo she posted on Instagram. “Everyday I sparkle, but today I rule #hello21,” she captioned the pic of herself in a silver dress.
The star of Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta partied the night away at Atlanta’s Gold Room, with guests being told to wear all black. Very fancy.
We have no doubt the champagne was flowing and the birthday girl turned up the heat!
