Ciara and Russell Wilson just destroyed Halloween 2019.
It feels as though this Halloween season has been happening for weeks with folks dressing up and celebrating in crazy costumes for the entire month of October. Although we are still one day away from the official Halloween date, our favorite celebrities have been showing off their costumes over the last few days and some of them absolutely murdered the game – no pun intended. We already saw the Queen of Rap Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth “Zoo” Petty throw their hat in the spooky ring with their adaptations of Harley Quinn and the Joker. But just when we thought our edges weren’t snatched enough, the newlywed couple came back for more with new wicked costumes.
Nicki and Kenneth made a clever play on their new marriage and dressed up as the infamous horror film character the Chucky doll and “The Bride of Chucky.” Dressed in the wedding dress from the popular scary franchise, Nicki had the makeup and hair down to a T. And while fans dragged Kenneth for looking like a “sad” Joker in their first attempt, this time his costume was basically perfect and he even held a creepy chopped-off finger with a wedding ring on it, a clear reference to a scene in the Bride of Chucky film.

But they weren’t the only couple to slay Halloween this year. On Wednesday Ciara and Russell Wilson posted photos of them dressed as Beyonce and Jay-Z in their iconic “Apesh*t” video. Ciara even wore the same exact designer pink suit that Beyonce wore in the award winning video that was filmed in the Louvre Museum in Paris. Ciara and Russell, who’ve been married since 2016, mirrored the image of Bey and Jay in front of the Mona Lisa, but instead stood in front of a portrait of Barack and Michelle Obama. The whole concept was basically a triple-entendre for couples’ goals.

Some of our other favorite costumes came from celebrities like Jhene Aiko, Gabrielle Union, Sawettie, Tracee Ellis Ross, Jeannie Mai, Jordyn Woods, and even Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott’s daughter, Baby Stormi.
