Tekashi 6ix9ine will have to wait another week to take the witness stand as his Nine Trey Bloods ex-gang members trial was delayed.
According to DJ Akademiks, who is close friends with 6ix9ine, the trial for the rapper has now been pushed back a week. The DJ broke the news on his Instagram page posting a photo with the visual, “The Trial in which 6ix9ine is expected to appear, take the stand and testify against his alleged kidnappers will not start today as previously scheduled. It has been rescheduled for next Monday 9/16/2019” The post was captioned, “The trial against the alleged kidnappers of #tekashi69 has been delayed a week. He’s expected to appear and testify against the two men who police say kidnapped him on the same morning the “FEFE” video was supposed to drop.”
The on-going trial has had many developments since it began. Recently a judge banned portions of the rapper’s music videos from being played due to misogyny. They also made a decision not to include details of his previous sex abuse case in which he assaulted a 13-year-old female.
The prosecution in Tekashi69’s infamous racketeering case also just celebrated their first win. The “Kooda” rapper’s ex-manager, known in the streets of New York as a Shotti, was sentenced to 15 years in prison. Both Tekashi 6ix9ine and Kifano “Shotti” Jordan were arrested in November last year and slapped with multiple charges including racketeering, gun, and drug charges. However, Tekashi copped a plea deal in January and agreed to cooperate with federal prosecutors and testify against his Nine Trey Bloods gang members including his former manager Kifano “Shotti” Jordan.

Tekashi’s work with the feds played a huge part in the sentencing however his former manager said he forgives him for snitching. In a video clip snippet from an interview with Cigar Talk, Tekashi’s former manager was asked if he should see the rapper now, what would he say to him, and he shockingly said that he forgave him for snitching on the whole crew. “I would just let him know I pity him man, I forgave him, but I pity him like you ain’t have to go that route, you ain’t have to do this man,” Shotti said.
Many persons have been anxiously awaiting the start of the trial to witness the rapper who has been deemed a ‘snitch’ take the stand. Unfortunately, they will now have to hold out just a bit longer.
