Post Malone Taps Future, Young Thug, Meek Mill For “Hollywood’s Bleeding” Album

Post Malone is set to release a new album on September 6th. The album, entitled Hollywood’s Bleeding is highly anticipated and even more so now after Malone posted the artistes involved in the project on his Instagram. The line up includes Da Baby, Future, Halsey, Meek Mill, SZA, Ozzy Osbourne, Swae Lee, and Young Thug.

This line up is star-studded, to say the least, and when coupled with Post Malone’s talent, one would expect perfection. His versatile sounds include hip hop, soul and country music and if this album were a pizza, the toppings look amazing with the features he’s acquired.

The anticipation has also been built by the songs that have already been released from the album. Four songs have previously been released from the 17 track project. Those four tracks being: “Sunflower” featuring Swae Lee, “Wow,” “Circles,” and “Goodbyes” featuring Young Thug. Three of the four songs did well on the Billboard chart with Sunflower peaking at number 1 and also amassing 757 million views on YouTube, while Wow and Goodbyes peaked at number 2 and number 7 respectively. The only song to have not yet received Billboard success is Circles which was released on Tuesday.

It seems then that we have a monstrous project on our hands, which is capable of breaking records in terms of first-week sales and also overall sales. Being his third album, Hollywood’s Bleeding will be a litmus test in proving how much the artist has grown since his inaugural Stoney album in 2016.

Many have even gone on to say Post is set to release the album of the year. He already has three absolute bangers, and when you think about the fourteen left in the chamber, you can’t help but think about the Grammy’s, the Billboard Awards and other events of that nature. In recent times Post has become somewhat of a hit factory rivaled only by the music elite, the likes of Drake, Rihanna, Ed Sheeran, Swae Lee, and Bruno Mars therefore only excellence is expected.

With the album three days away Post has decided to give us Circles. After watching that music video, I fully understand why. The melancholy sounding track, which has an alternative sound, is gripping from start to finish. Its music video has a medieval theme as Malone seeks to be his girls night in shining armor.

Those scenes from the video really hit home with Malone bellowing ( chorus): “Seasons changed and our love went cold/ feed the flame cuz we can’t let go/ Runaway but we running in circles/ Runaway, runaway / I dare you to do something/ I’m waiting on you again/ So I don’t take the blame / Runaway but we running in circles/ Runaway, runaway, runaway.”

An excellent video for a great song and the fans have already approved it. It has shot up to the top of the Spotify U.S. charts with 2.53 million streams stateside easily surpassing Lil Teca’s “Ransom “which took second place with 1.69 million streams.

The good times keep rolling for Post Malone, and we can’t wait to hear what he has in store for us on the 6th. We eagerly await Hollywood’s Bleeding, fully trusting this modern genius with the task of providing us with a Classic Album. Until then, get Hollywood’s Bleeding in stores and on digital platforms starting September 6th.
