Friends, family and celebs alike took to social media to wish the late Nipsey Hussle a Happy Birthday.

Nipsey Hussle would have been 34 years old on Thursday, and fans and friends of the late west coast rapper celebrated his birthday, the first one to pass after he was tragically gunned down in February. Nipsey’s longtime girlfriend and mother of his son, Lauren London, wrote a heartfelt message to her late lover Thursday afternoon.

“Today We celebrate You my beloved. Today we honor you King. We are to live in our highest vibrations today because that is how Nip lived his life,” the actress wrote in a poetic Instagram caption under photos; one of Nipsey, one of her at a memorial site, and the last pictures them two together. “We should encourage and inspire today because that is how Hussle lived his life. Today we should love and give truth because that is how He lived his life. His Purpose still lives on with us all. Ermias wasn’t a sad soul. He was a powerful strong magical soul. Today is the day we lift up.”

Nipsey’s friend and fellow west coast MC YG also posted the fallen philanthropic rapper with a caption that read “HAPPY CDAY BRO! we love you we miss you,” as a tribute to Nipsey’s ties to the Crips.

Snoop Dogg also paid special tribute to Nipsey, born Ermias Ashghedom, and promised to drop a new song Thursday night that commemorates gang unity. “In honor of the late great nip, we celebrate him. New track and video “one blood one cuzz” #iwannathankme avail at midnite,” Snoop wrote under a preview of the new track.

Even Beyonce took the time to post about the “Victory Lap” rapper’s bornday.
