Mavado And Singer Melxdie Drops New Collab “Girls R Better”

Mavado and Melxdie

We the Best music label artiste, Mavado has been relatively quiet for the first half of this year. That changed this weekend when international recording artiste, Melxdie featured the Gully Gad on her track “Girls Are Better.”

The official music video posted on Melxdie’s Youtube channel on Friday, Mavado appears to be a major product dealer, but instead of drugs, it’s diamonds, and instead of a crew of gangsters, he has a gang of bad girls who are loyal to him.

The track features Melxdie’s smooth vocals over a pop/dancehall hybrid beat. “Girls are… mmhm… girls are better,” she sings, leading up to Mavado’s verse. The Gully Gad makes quite an entrance in the video when he is seen exiting what appears to be a classic black Mustang. “Mi nuh wah see no man, girls alone a mi heartbeat / The girls dem pon mi mind every time keep me up mek mi cya sleep,” Vado sings. The Dancehall star’s verse gets even better as he paints the beat with his signature sound.

Melxdie, who currently has just under a thousand subscribers on Youtube, is being beseeched by fans in the comments to reupload the song to Mavado’s Vevo to reach more people and generate even more views.

We’re not sure she will oblige, but one thing is for sure – it’s a catchy tune. Check out the Youtube video below.
