Kanye West Asked President Trump To Help Free A$AP Rocky

Kanye West called up his good friend in the White House, President Trump, to request some help in freeing A$AP Rocky.

The calls are growing louder for Sweden to free A$AP Rocky, who has been in their custody for over two weeks without being charged with a crime. A Swedish judge has ordered him to remain behind bars while a prosecutor indicated that he would likely be indicted for assault. The latest developments in the case sparked louder cries from across the world to #FreeASAP.

President Trump has now confirmed that he spoke with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian about A$AP Rocky’s case and planned to lend a helping hand. “Just spoke to @KanyeWest about his friend A$AP Rocky’s incarceration,” the president tweeted. “I will be calling the very talented Prime Minister of Sweden to see what we can do about helping A$AP Rocky. So many people would like to see this quickly resolved!”

On Friday, G-Eazy weighed in on the case which is just over a year since he was arrested in Sweden for assault and drug possession. Unlike A$AP Rocky, he was given a deal a day and a half after his arrest and was given no jail time. He pled guilty to violent resistance and illegal drug possession. He was given probation and a $10,000 fine.
